我想起自己吃了大半年的燕麥榖片早餐。忘記在什麼機緣與心情下，在 City Super 超市看到這些德國進口的燕麥多榖片，買了一包回家打算加優酪乳當早餐，一試從此就愛上。這種燕麥多榖片，英文稱作 muesli，德文是 Müsli，以燕麥為主，同時也會加入各種果乾及堅果。這種非常適合當做早餐的粗食，是在 20 世紀初瑞士的一位醫生在醫院替他的病人安排的飲食內容，不過一直要到 1960 年代才真正受到西方國家那些追求健康飲食人士的喜愛。
這種多榖片吃法非常簡單，而且也可以有很多變化，最簡單的就是加牛奶或豆漿，也可以依照自己的喜好加入香蕉或者其他水果片，熱的冷的甜的鹹的都好。以我自己來說，早上一早起來喝杯水後，就是舀個幾湯匙的多榖片放到大碗裡，然後加入無糖優酪乳，攪一攪然後直接吃。有時候也會換成無糖豆漿、低糖豆漿或者糙米米漿。因為這種多榖片都是全穀類，口感非常非常耐嚼，令人覺得很有飽足感。
